My Brushes + Video now also on itch!

Hey everyone!

Recently Gumroad announced a change where they hiked the percentage that they pocket of sales made on there, and I figured hey, I know another place that, while mostly a videogame site, also offers sections for tools and the like.
So I decided to upload the Brush Video pack over here as well. Some of my other digital download offering will probably follow as well once I find the muse for it.

Anyway, while this pack is actually a few years old by now, it's still very up-to-date. Little has changed since i made it, so if you want to learn more about the brushes that I use to paint then here is an option to do just that. :)

The pack is available for 7$ and contains the .abr file and three videos, to go into the different functions of the brushes.
The .abr files are native for Photoshop CC, but if you use an art program like Procreate then you can use them there as well. Though of course your milage may vary depending on the program and how well they translate the photoshop features.

I do not use Photoshop or Procreate, but do you know if these work well in Krita? I have been casually looking at getting into digital painting for some time now, so perhaps this is the moment that I've been waiting for. In either case, whether I could or could not use it, I love & appreciate the existence of this digital offering.

Hey, I think with Krita you can only import the brush shape itself, but it doesn't import the rest of the setting with it. So i'm not sure if that is a great option for you if you're new, since while you probably can tweak and recreate the settings, i doubt it's something you want to do as a beginner.

Heard. I have messed around with Krita's digital painting abilities on a piece or two before, and I had great fun, but I have nothing to compare it against. While I haven't done much painting before, I have used it for a few other kinds of artwork, so I am familiar enough with the software that playing with brush settings and other minutia is more fun and intentional than overwhelming or confusing. That is good to know about the file import limitations, though. Thank you and happy holidays.
