Road to Conway Update 20
Hey everyone, Update 20, under the title of "Fraternité" is almost upon us, with the schedules releas on the 1st of October.
It's gonna be a big one as well, it'll be just shy of 30k words in total, spread over several routes. And not just Sam and Wolf will be continued, but we're adding Arthur into the mix as well for example.
But of course it's not just the writing that'll be added, no, we'll have a small but still really neat new addition that I can share already in the video here:
Yep! We've added some blinking animations! They are added for the Main 6 and the secondary story characters. Technically speaking it is not a big addition. Just 2 new frames basically, but I think it adds quite a bit of life to the sprites.
We do try to be careful with animations. Renpy isn't great with them and we have learned just how taxing they can be from the tails we did in the past. So yeh, it took a while until we decided to add these.
I hope you enjoy it and are looking forward to Update 20.

Just got through Wolf's route, what a ride! Enjoy the grounded and colorful cast of characters, and the artwork is wonderful and plays well with the historic setting! Keep it up Conway team! ^^
I'm glad you're enjoying it! Yeah it's good to finally get to some of the meat for him. He always needed the slow start and it's great to hear that it's paying off for people.
His story his so heartbreaking already, and that cliffhanger hurts! Can't wait to see where you go with him!
I remember when this project first began, though I have not been able to keep up with every update in the interim. I am very excited to see how much has changed since my last read, which was update 10.
Oh shoot, yeah you've got plenty new stuff to look out for, and some of the best we've made as well, at least in my own eyes.
This VN is simply great. Of the best of the genre!!!
